Launch a coin.
Get a chain.
Every coin launched on Mintnet goes live on pump.fun and is born with its own virtual chain: a chain ID, a network name, a working RPC and a live block explorer. Every trade lands in its own blocks.
Launch a coin, mint a chain.
Every coin, its own chain.
One launch. Two births.
Launch your coin
Name, ticker, image. One wallet popup creates the coin on pump.fun and registers its chain on Solana.
Get your chain
Your chain is born at the same moment: chain ID, network name, RPC and explorer. Block #0 is your launch transaction.
Watch it grow
A new block every 2 seconds. Every buy and sell lands in its block, with real Solana signatures you can verify.
What's a virtual chain?
Your coin lives on Solana, like every pump.fun coin. Mintnet gives it its own chain identity on top: a ledger of just your coin's activity, grouped into its own blocks, with its own ID and an RPC anyone can query.
- Every transaction is a real Solana transaction, linked on Solscan.
- Blocks are 2-second windows counted from your launch.
- The RPC answers vnet_* methods with live data.
- It's not a separate network, so don't add it to a wallet.
Fair questions.
Is this a real blockchain?
No. It's a virtual chain: a ledger of your coin's real Solana activity with its own chain ID, blocks, RPC and explorer. Settlement, security and trading all happen on Solana. That's why it works instantly and costs nothing extra.
Can I add the RPC to MetaMask or Phantom?
No. The RPC answers Mintnet's own vnet_* methods, not wallet network methods, and it rejects eth_* calls on purpose. Your coin itself works in any Solana wallet as a normal token.
How is the chain ID chosen?
It's derived from your coin's address, so it's fixed forever and anyone can recompute it. You see it before you launch.
Where do the blocks come from?
Block #0 is your launch. After that, every 2 seconds is one block, and each buy or sell is placed in the block for the second it happened on Solana.
Who earns the fees?
Trading happens on pump.fun, so pump.fun's creator fees go to the wallet that launched the coin, as normal.
How do chains show up here?
Each launch includes a tiny registration transaction on Solana. Mintnet lists every registration signed by the coin's real creator, so nobody can fake a chain for someone else's coin.
